Ekiz Olive Oil was founded for the refined oil production and with its capacity of 50 tons per day it was able to supply the Turkey’s demands between 1946 and 1971. The company started exporting since 1972 and with a rising graphic in imports and exports the demands of the market.
With the increasing rate of sales on both domestic and export sales, demanding customer’s requests and successing world wide standarts and expanding the market sales to continue improving the quality of the products made the refination facilities revisioned and modernized, thus 75 tons of capacity Physical Refinery Facility stepped in and improved the producing.

Producing
Ekiz certified by SGS S&SC due to ISO 9001 and has been documented with HACCP against SGS ICS.
Quality managment systems and Food Security are the main principles. Also the production is made according to Turkish Food Codex and Turkish Standard 341 Edible Olive Oil and COI Standards.
There is a continue physical system refinery facility for production of Refined Olive Oil. The production capacity of Refined Olive Oil 75 tons/day.
Crude Olive oil is being processed by physical refination, refined olive oil with at most 0.3% free acidity and bright colour is being produced.
Pure olive oil is being produced by the mix of Refined Olive Oil and Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
For the filtration of Extra Virgin Olive Oil 2 automatic filters are existent. For filling process, 4 automatic filling machines are existent.
The Storage capacity for Refined Olive Oil is 1500 tons, for Crude Olive Oil is 3500 tons and for Extra Virgin Olive Oil is 700 tons.
